Years of Pixar

Now, we've lived a while with Pixar and before the Academy Awards 2009 come, let's review the wonderful films they have made.

First, we come up with a classic that started the whole thing, a great movie about friendship called Toy Story, then comes a movie which I cannot describe at all called A Bug's Life, then comes a sequel to a hit movie from 1995 called Toy Story 2, then comes a movie about loving in a weird way called Monsters Inc., then came a movie about a search for one clown's son in Finding Nemo, and came a movie about a hero that will rise again with his family in The Incredibles, then came a movie about a road trip to the race and on the way meets some new friends in Cars, and a movie where a small rat makes a big differance in Paris in Ratatouille, and lastly a movie about love and the future in Wall-E.

And now let's talk. Practicly all of of Pixar's movies made it in the Oscars. And most of them won, right? And Wall-E should defidently win this year. I wonder how good Up will be. I hear there will be a Toy Story 3 anda Cars 2 coming out.

Heroes of '08 and '09

There were great heroes of 2008. There was Batman, saving gotham from The Joker in The Dark Knight,
and a new hero came along deciding to stop the weapons industry and save people as Iron Man, and a remake of a movie where a man was tested on and became a lean mean green-machine called The Incredible Hulk. There is also another hero which isn't good at what he does but will eventually be used to save the world in Hancock, and there is also Dragonfly from Superhero Movie but he dosen't count.
Now new heroes await us in the year of 2009 so lets view them. There is a movie called Watchmen (which I know barely anything about) which dosen't look so good to me, there is a man wanting revenge so becomes a superhero called Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the Autobots and their friends will have to face the Decepticons again in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, based on the 1980's toys that inspires a hit cartoon, a live action movie called G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, and an animated movie set in the future about a super-powered robot goes in search of acceptance and returns to try and save his home city in Astro Boy. Watchmen, Wolverine, the Autobots, G.I. Joe, and Astro Boy are the heroes of 2009.

Cool or Not Cool?

So, most people like Harry Potter, right, but is it cool or not cool? I'll show you my opinion:

I think Harry Potter stuff is stupid. It's pointless. It's just all just Hocus Pocus and stuff. Although, I like the TV show Wizards of Waverly Place, I want to see The Illusionist, and I like The Pencil Trick in The Dark Knight. I hope Harry Potter stuff will soon be done once and for all. It may have some good visual effects but is it good? I think Lord of the Rings is WAY better. But I know that it's better than The Golden Compass. There's no such thing as goblins and half blood princes and other stuff.
So now leave your comment about if you agree or don't.
